Round Lake is a 230-acre glacial lake in west-central Lake County that receives water from Hook Lake and Highland Lake (which receives water from Cranberry Lake) and empties into Long Lake and eventually into the Fox River. In 2003 the Round Lake Commission was developed “to provide a safe, clean, and pleasant lake for the enjoyment of all area residents.” yearly fish stocking and shoreline cleanups and the recent eradication of Eurasian Milfoil, this clear water lake will continue to be a source of enjoyment for years to come.
